2005 will see 64 departures of the 2620-passenger Queen Mary 2 and 1791-passenger
Queen Elizabeth 2. The trips will range in length from three to 102 days.
They'll include 26 transatlantic crossings from April to November. Major
departure points include New York, London, and Fort Lauderdale. Key cruise
itineraries visit the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Canary
Islands, South America, and Canada/New England... Continuing a tradition
of World Cruises that dates back to 1922, Cunard Line will begin a 108-day
"Voyage of Discovery" from New York in January. Traveling west from New
York, the Queen Elizabeth will stop at Los Angeles before heading to the
South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, the Far East to India, Arabia, and
Europe. The final six-day leg will be from Southampton to New York aboard
the new Queen Mary 2. QM2's Caribbean schedule from now until next spring
consists of 18 departures from either New York or Fort Lauderdale.
